Interference Colours offer a range of reflective properties and interplay with light. When viewed from different angles Interference colours flip between a bright opalescent colour and its complement.
Interference acrylics are relatively transparent, allowing artists the ability to glaze with unique effects. Over white or light coloured surfaces the Interference colour is more subtle and the flip effect is more obvious, over black or dark surfaces the colour is more obvious and the flip is less obvious. Landscapes can be enhanced with Interference Blue or Interference Green. Add life to wildlife artwork with Interference Red or Interference Violet.
Add a conventional Fluid or Heavy Body colour to Interference colours for unique colour ranges. A small amount of black added to Interference colours produces deeper, richer, opalescent effects.
