Masking tape is used for various painting and decorating applications. It consists of a paper backing or carrier and a natural rubber adhesive.
It is important to remember the adhesive is not cured which means general purpose masking tapes have a limited temperature resistance and should not be left longer than 3 days otherwise they may leave adhesive residues.
